:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Marylou -- Honest and Innocent : Growing up in the sixties the word sex was not talked about and it certainly would not have been found in the children's section of a bookstore! ( Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2017 )

The illustrations are priceless, the story line light, fluid, and natural. Not as scary a topic as some might think. Fortify your library. Buy the book! - 1.0 out of 5 stars from J. Wise -- Great intent, poorly delivered : Had high hopes for this book after hearing rave reviews from a few social media influencers (maybe they were paid reviews). The book does try to give a good message- but it is very poorly delivered. The overall wording doesn't flow well and it makes some of it confusing/lacking good format. Also- was disappointed in the lack of information and how the little bit of information was presented. Look elsewhere for a book for your little ones that addresses this topic. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Amazon Customer -- Highly recommend : Wish I had this book as a child but so thankful to read it as an adult- it gives answers, validation, and healing to the feelings of shame and secrecy that sex carries. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2018 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Courtney Rabold -- Five Stars : It was a very good story. ( Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2017 )
- 1.0 out of 5 stars from EmgRsgAsg3 -- Do Not Buy totally Inappropriate : My son ran into our local Libray and picked up this book and read it! This was before I noticed because it was on a display shelf. He is 10yrs old. He came over to me asked me about the book and then I read it. This book attempts to tell about sex from a grandma. It looks fun.. sweet.. and innocent pictures illustrations. Basically a child will learn from it is that sex is about feeling good.. you can feel good with sex. So if it feels good then just do it!?! It confused my son. What bothered me the most, is when asked if you can have a baby every time you have sex? Grandma said.. "goodness no"! Well unless it is homosexual sex, then everytime you have sex there is a chance of pregnancy and disease! Shouldn't we be telling our kids this?? If you going to talk about sex then they should know this!!! This is terrible way to expain sex to child. Kids want to do what feels good, Grandma!! Adults understand the difference.. kids do not! Drugs might feel good.. so Grandma.. should I do them too?? I am sad that my son picked up this book. I am disappointed with my public library putting this out there.. thinking it was okay! This book is waste of money and will only confuse your child or make them more curious about having sex because it feels good! DONT BUY IT!!! ( Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2018 )
- 1.0 out of 5 stars from Alex -- Child Sexual Indoctrination : Everything in the description for this book is disgusting. Do children of story time age really need to understand how to play with themselves? Do they really need to understand sodomy? Or is this just more borderline-sexual indoctrination from a whacko on the left? How is this for sale? It's basically a pedophile handbook. ( Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2019 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from West Coast -- Simple and Reassuring. : Sex is part of life. This book deals with the subject in a calm non- sensational way. Simple and forthright without details of sex itself, it considers feelings, consent and respect for ourselves and others. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2017 )
